Easton Haines Limited respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. In this Privacy Policy we will explain how we look after your personal data and inform you of your privacy rights and how you are protected by law. We are committed to preserving the privacy of all individuals (clients, candidates and other 3rd parties we may have contact with in relation to our business activities) and to protecting any personal information provided to us. We believe it is important for you to be well informed about how Easton Haines safeguards your personal information and how we undertake data processing practices.

Data Controller
Easton Haines Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as “Easton Haines Limited”, “we”, “us” or “our” throughout this document.

Information we collect from you
The information collected from you may include but is not limited to your name, address, landline or mobile telephone numbers, fax number and e-mail address; your date of birth; copies of your curriculum vitae, personal statements and other information relating to your job history, qualifications, referee details, salary expectations etc. On occasions this may also include sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions and ethnic origin.
Unless we have your permission, we will not sell, trade or rent personal information about you to unaffiliated third parties.
Use of your personal information:
We may use your personal information for the purposes of:
- Running searches against a number of criteria from the information we have gathered from you and from job descriptions / person specifications / requirements provided by our clients.
- Using the data we hold to inform you of suitable job opportunities. Easton Haines Limited will contact you via phone, email and/or SMS to advise of such employment opportunities
- Subscribing you to job alerts emails to which you may unsubscribe at any time
- With your prior consent, sharing your personal information to our clients in order to assist your job applications and assess your eligibility. This may include disclosing sensitive or personal information where you have provided it.
- For crime prevention and prosecution of offenders where necessary
Access to your personal data
The information you submit to us is be held on a secure off-site cloud-based CRM server provided by a third-party CRM data management organization. All software used to process and store your data is password protected and is accessed by authorized employees of Easton Haines Limited only.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we hold under the GDPR Data Protection Act 2018 and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that the information we hold is accurate and up to date. Please contact us using the contact information set out at the end of this document if you wish to update or correct the personal information you previously supplied to us or if you choose to opt out of any communications which you may have initially agreed to or if you have any queries or requests or comments relating to the use of your personal information or any questions about this privacy policy.
Easton Haines Limited may ask you to verify your identity and/or for more information about your request. We can also refuse your request in certain circumstances and will give you reasons for doing this (for example if we are required to keep your information by law for a statutory period of time).
Disclosure of your personal data
Easton Haines Limited may have to share your personal data with third parties such as business partners who perform services on our behalf or to us (e.g. professional advisors acting as processors or joint controllers including third-party payroll providers, lawyers, bankers, accountants, auditors and insurers who provide such services to Easton Haines Limited). These third parties comply with similar undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as we do
When required we may also have to share your personal details with HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities acting as processors or joint controllers who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances and our clients or intermediaries if you are working for them. We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the event we sell or buy any business or assets when we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or purchaser of such business or assets. In the case of Easton Haines Limited being purchased by a third party then the personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
